Apartment Marius
At Beautiful Kitchens, we are passionate about creating kitchen installations that combine elegance, functionality, and quality. Apartment Marius approached us with a clear concept of a sleek and stylish kitchen to fit their contemporary space. They desired a simple design with rich wood accents and high-quality materials to create a refined and functional cooking area.
The Challenger
The goal for Apartment Marius’ kitchen installation was to combine sleek, modern aesthetics with the warmth of natural wood, all while maintaining a compact yet highly functional layout. The homeowners wanted a bold dark grey colour palette with elements that would maximise storage and incorporate luxurious yet practical features.
To achieve these needs, we chose a Dark Grey Satin Duco finish for the cabinetry, creating a sophisticated backdrop that combined beauty and simplicity. For a touch of warmth, we used American walnut veneer flap-up doors with Hettich Maxi B lift mechanisms for simple, smooth access. The lift systems meant that the design was both elegant and functional, allowing commonly used things to be easily retrieved and stored away.
To improve the kitchen’s modern appearance, 20mm Alaska Caesarstone countertops were used. This Caesarstone’s polished, light-toned surface adds a touch of elegance to the dark grey cabinetry, creating a stunning contrast. In addition, we fitted a Blanco 340U underslung prep bowl and a Blanco Mida mixer tap, which provided both convenience and a streamlined appearance that complimented the Caesarstone worktops.
The Result
The finished kitchen installation at Apartment Marius was a remarkable combination of contemporary style and utility. The Dark Grey Satin Duco cabinetry established a bold, modern foundation for the area, while the American walnut veneer flap-up doors added natural warmth and gave the kitchen an inviting feel to it. The Hettich Maxi B lift systems enabled a clutter-free design, making storage efficient and accessible.
The 20mm Alaska Caesarstone worktops added a polished beauty to the kitchen, making meal prep spaces durable and elegant. When combined with the Blanco 340U underslung prep bowl and Blanco Mida mixer tap, the worktops provided the ideal balance of functionality and high-end style. Furthermore, 32mm American walnut floating shelves were fitted to provide storage and display space.
