House Paul

At Beautiful Kitchens, we specialise in creating custom kitchen installations that reflect our clients’ distinct visions and lifestyle needs. When House Paul approached us, they envisioned an elegant kitchen that flowed smoothly into the lounge area, creating an inviting, open space perfect for entertaining. The homeowners wanted a design that combined classic charm with modern convenience, and Beautiful Kitchens was thrilled to bring this vision to life.

The Challenger

The goal at House Paul was to design a spacious kitchen that projected warmth and refinement while still providing adequate storage and practical elements for entertaining groups. The homeowners wanted a feature island that would act as a focal point, with rustic finishes to match their love of natural textures. They also desired hidden storage alternatives to keep their equipment looking sleek and uncluttered.

We started by selecting a custom cream satin Duco paint with antique finishing accents for the cabinetry, which gives the kitchen a timeless elegance. To improve the traditional impression, we used 18mm classic door profiles with 76mm capping features, which lend refinement to the top cabinets. For the feature island, American walnut solid wood worktops and doors created a striking contrast to the cream cabinets, adding warmth to the overall design. Rustic handles were chosen for the island cabinetry, providing a tactile, vintage appeal.

Given the need for seamless appliance integration, we concealed two Smeg fridges within custom cabinetry, ensuring a clean and cohesive look. The centrepiece of the kitchen, a 1.5-metre-wide Smeg freestanding cooker in stainless steel, brought a professional touch to the cooking area while standing as a practical choice for

The Result

The end result of House Paul’s kitchen installation was a spacious, stylish place ideal for entertaining and everyday family living. The custom cream satin Duco cabinetry, with its antique finish and 76mm capping, gave a classic and sophisticated look that complemented the adjoining lounge space and enhanced the open-plan concept. The American walnut solid wood worktops, doors and rustic handles on the centrepiece island created an eye-catching focal point, offering a rich warmth that grounded the area.

Our installation included carefully placed recessed LED lighting within cabinets and under counters, illuminating the kitchen beautifully in the evenings. The lights provided an ambient glow, creating a welcoming atmosphere perfect for gatherings. With Hettich soft-close runners and hinges, drawers and cabinets operated smoothly and quietly, reinforcing the high standard of quality in the kitchen installation.

The hidden Smeg fridges and stainless steel Smeg cooker added to the kitchen’s minimalist, modern feel, making it both functional and visually appealing. The family was ecstatic with the ultimate product, describing it as a space where classic elegance meets modern practicality, ideal for entertaining friends and family.
