House Werner
At Beautiful Kitchens, we take pride in creating kitchen installations that combine aesthetic appeal with functional design. House Werner presented a distinct vision: a kitchen renovation combining timeless elegance with meticulous craftsmanship, featuring a custom dark green finish, brass accents, and honed stone worktops. Every element is designed to create a sophisticated and cohesive space, and we were excited to bring this vision to life.
The Challenger
House Werner’s primary challenge was to balance a bright, rich green palette with modest brass elements while maintaining a modern and efficient room. The clients wanted an elegant kitchen that provided plenty of storage while still exuding warmth and charm. They envisioned an inviting centre island as the main point, surrounded by custom cabinetry and high-end finishes.
To meet these requirements, we chose the 18mm Profile Shaker door type, which was painted in a custom dark green Dulux shade with Enviro Touch, a sustainable hand-painted finish. The classic Shaker profile, combined with 67mm Royal capping details, added a subtle depth to the cabinetry. The design included brass handles and a custom-ordered brass tap to achieve the perfect match, giving the kitchen a seamless elegance. For select cabinets, beveled glass inserts provided an airy, open feel, while balancing the intensity of the green.
The homeowners were drawn to the natural look and durability of stone. We installed 12mm honed Calacatta Gold Cosentino worktops, built up to a solid 40mm thickness for the centre island and custom-made steel shelf support, which we clad in matching Cosentino stone. This feature not only accentuated the elegant brass accents, but also provided a functional and visually appealing centrepiece for the area.
The Result
This kitchen renovation showcases a custom Dulux dark green cupboard and cabinet layout paired with a stunning marble countertop. This renovation is hand-painted with an Enviro Touch finish and protected with two coats of clear spray for lasting durability. Brass finish handles are meticulously matched to the brass kitchen mixer that adds a touch of elegance to the overall look.
The beveled glass on the glass doors introduces a contemporary flair, while the 68mm classic capping details on top of the cabinets provide a refined finish. A 12mm Cosentino worktop with a honed finish, built up to a substantial 40mm thickness, offers both style and durability.
Additionally, a custom-made steel shelf, clad with the same stone and perfectly matched veins, seamlessly ties the design together. Integrated appliances, including a dishwasher and fridge, maintained a sleek, uncluttered appearance, enhancing the modern elegance of the space. Thoughtfully styled with plants and natural decor, the kitchen radiated warmth, inviting gatherings and family meals. House Werner’s owners were delighted with their new kitchen, applauding the meticulous balance of classic elements with contemporary finishes.
