House Megan

Beautiful Kitchens specialises in constructing custom kitchen installations that are suited to each client’s individual taste and functional requirements. House Megan recently approached us, looking for a kitchen that combined beauty and functionality in colours of grey, white, and natural wood. The homeowners envisioned a contemporary area with adequate storage and elegant aesthetics, and we were delighted to undertake this change.

The Challenger

The aim for House Megan was to create a kitchen installation that integrated a sleek, light colour scheme with natural textures and great functionality.  The family’s major goal was to create a modern yet warm atmosphere in the kitchen by using high-quality finishes, lots of storage, and a variety of materials to make it both attractive and durable.

To achieve these requirements, our design team chose an Ivory White PVC wrap and an 18mm Shaker door profile for the cabinets. This option had a timeless, classic look, while the Shaker style added a touch of refinement that fit the homeowner’s tastes. To meet the need for an organised and clutter-free kitchen, the design included a plethora of storage drawers, ensuring plenty of space to store kitchen supplies while preserving an orderly appearance.

To add warmth to the design, we utilised 32mm oak veneer floating shelves and a matching island worktop. The wooden island top created a natural contrast to the cooler cabinetry tones, offering a touch of rustic appeal that blended easily into this modern kitchen design. We chose Kashmir Gold granite in 30mm thickness for the countertops because of its durability and subtle patterns that add to the overall beauty of the kitchen.

The Result

The transformation of House Megan’s kitchen resulted in a stylish, highly functional space that exactly fit the owners’ expectations. The Ivory White PVC wrap in the 18mm Shaker door profile gave a clean, classic design, while the abundance of drawers allowed for structured storage and clutter-free surfaces.

The use of oak veneer on the floating shelves and island surface gave warmth to the kitchen, creating an attractive focal point that balanced the white cabinets and grey overtones. This combination of natural wood and elegant finishes provided the kitchen with a modern yet inviting vibe, making it suitable for both cooking and entertaining.

The Kashmir Gold granite countertops provided a robust work surface with a subtle beauty that complemented the grey and white colour scheme. The use of white subway wall tiles enhanced the design by adding a touch of timeless charm to the space while keeping it bright and open.

House Megan was pleased with the ultimate outcome, praising the seamless balance of elegance and functionality achieved through our tailored approach. The homeowners particularly loved the design’s storage capacity and the warmth provided by the Oak veneer accents.
